Hello hello dear listeners, welcome back to Narratives of Purpose. Yes, we are back after a couple of months’ break and today we are starting our pre-season. You heard that right a pre-season. It’s the first time we have such a thing on Narratives of Purpose. We are doing something special before launching the new podcast season in September, season number 5. 

If you are a regular listener, thank you so much for your continued support. If you are new to our show, we are really delighted to have you amongst our audience. My name is Claire Murigande. I am your host on this podcast which is all about amplifying social impact. I bring you unique stories of changemakers, stories of people who are contributing to make a difference in society. And I hope that showcasing these individual journeys will inspire you to take action.

Now, before I tell you about the upcoming episodes and what to expect in season 5, I have an important call to action. We are asking for your support to help us reach new heights. Coming back to our pre-season this month of August, we will be swapping episodes with a couple of other independent podcasters. An episode swap is a great way for listeners to discover podcasts they haven’t heard of before. Basically, instead of publishing episodes from our show, we will publish episodes from other podcasts that have content close to ours. I won’t spill all the beans right now, all I can tell you is that the episodes you’ll listen to are from podcasts hosted by women, based in the UK and the US. Topics include arts, creativity, but also spending and investing money purposefully. Our first episode swap will be released on Tuesday 8 of August. Be sure not to miss it.

For the new season launching in September, I will be connecting with some of our previous guests who will share how their companies or their organisations have grown since they were first featured on Narratives of Purpose and they will also tell us about the impact they’ve had through their work. We’ll hear from entrepreneurs in the Education Tech sector as well as the impact investing space contributing to close the gender funding gap. I will also include a few new guests, and I’m really looking forward to sharing their stories with you as well. So, stay tuned for that.
